Sonia Valente is an actress and theatre maker based in London.

Born and raised in Portugal she developed an interest in acting at school and then pursued that by joining a local theatre group. During almost nine years she developed her acting skills but also her way of working as a theatre maker and collaborator by going on tours around the country. 

In 2018 she obtained a Master’s Degree in Theatre Arts at Middlesex University, London.
Sonia has also been in a few short films and web series, since 2021.

In 2025 she trained at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. 

When she's not acting (or wandering around a theatre philosophising about the meaning of life)  Sonia enjoys doing research and reading about Social Anthropology, History, Languages and traveling.
